There is some undeniable chemistry between Morgan and Pat. I felt it when I met them back in 2019 at Morgan’s sister’s wedding. I felt it even more at their proposal in 2020 and again later, at their engagement shoot in 2021. When I think of their relationship, I think of the saying “home is wherever I’m with you.” When these two are together, it’s like nothing else matters. Their wedding day started off with a LOT of rain but these two didn’t let it get to them because it was like nothing mattered besides being with each other and getting married. They made the day special and their own – rain or shine. I always say how cool my job is because I get to witness special moments that nobody besides me, myself, and my camera get to witness. A moment from Morgan and Pat’s day that made me cry… actually, full on BAWL, behind the camera was when Morgan and Pat exited their ceremony just after being announced as husband and wife… and Pat started crying because it hit him. Like, it really hit him… that he just married his best friend. After 7 years and a few moves, there was his official, forever ’home’ in front of him. Every time I looked at those photos or told someone about that moment, I cried. Am I crying right now? Yes. Lol.
Oof.. who’s cutting onions over here????? Stahppp it right now!!! Let’s talk detail. Morgan and Pat’s wedding was iconic. From Morgan’s dress to the day’s color palette and the florals… wow! Morgan’s dress was one I had seen online on a model and thought ‘wow… that’s a COOL dress. I hope I get to photograph it someday on a real bride’ … anddddd God answered that prayer! That Aleena Lena gown was MADE for Morgan. The textured material and the variety of ‘looks’ the sleeves could give were neat. I think I had 1000 portraits of just Morgan alone. The men looked sharp in their beige suits and the ladies wore cinderella blue midi dresses that complimented nicely. Their ceremony aisle was lined with a thousand petals and their reception had lush greens everywhere. The day’s aesthetic was unmatched!
