Mallory and Austin! High school sweethearts that got to finally live out their fairytale wedding. What a beautiful day! I met these two for the first time on their wedding day and it seriously felt like I had known them FOREVER. What a testament to them and their warm and welcoming selves. It’s not every day you have an entire group that is friends with each other. It was so special to see all the bridesmaids + groomsmen as one big friend group but also the parents as best friends! It really felt like this day, this long awaited day, was a huge celebration everyone was counting the days down to. My favorite part of their day was Mallory’s walk down the aisle. Austin didn’t see her beforehand and so the anticipation was REAL. Queue all the waterworks!!! There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd (including my own, lol).
THE DETAILS! THE VISION! THE PARTY! GRANDMA DYCIE! Everything was a hit and a hoot!!! Their planner, Lyndsey Mae, pulled so many details together between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I must note — her suggestion to do the ceremony on the lawn with the ocean in the back elevated and set apart this Florida Keys Wedding. Also a great suggestion to cut back on the strong gusts of wind for guests! Island Blooms knocked it out of the park with the floral arrangements and installs to complement the chandeliers under the reception tent. A luxury touch was the floral wall surrounding the reception tent; this made for a beautiful entrance and to elevate the tent feel into a venue space. Nothing says welcome to our wedding reception quite like a shot of patron awaiting you at your dinner seat. We love a good sparkler moment and Mallory and Austin had so many opportunities with them. We stayed until the very end through the reception exit capturing + celebrating the new Mr. & Mrs. Abernathy!
