Intimate Tuscany Elopement | Italy Wedding

ANNEMARIE & ANDREW!!! The elopement of the CENTURY (and a huuuuge bucket list location checked off for me!!!) ✨

Traveling all over Tuscany to capture their love story was surreal—from the mountain tops where they exchanged vows to the valleys where they roamed, soaking in true Tuscan culture (wine, coffee, pasta… all the essentials!!!).

One of my favorite parts of their elopement? They ditched the traditional first look and instead got ready together, helping each other get dressed. They truly spent the entire day side by side, from sunrise to sundown. So intentional. So them. ♥️ Now let’s talk about the wild weather curveball we got… ️ Originally, their elopement was planned for the day before. We had a whole itinerary mapped out—cities to visit, places to see, all the things. But as we got closer, the forecast was looking… not great. And by not great, I mean downpours. Like, FULL-ON rainstorm status. The Type A problem solver in me immediately pulled out my nine weather + radar apps (lol yes, nine) and confirmed—yep, we were in for a soaked wedding day.

But then it hit me… we have a rare opportunity here. We can literally reschedule!!!

Not every couple has the flexibility to just move their wedding, but since it was just Annemarie, Andrew, and me… WE COULD! I was already in Italy for them, so I was ready to make whatever work!! We quickly flipped the plan—turning their original wedding day into a full-on excursion day (still exploring the originally researched itinerary) and using what was supposed to be their honeymoon excursion day for their actual elopement day… plus me, third-wheeling, of course And honestly?? Best. Decision. Ever. By the end of it, we had seen 7+ towns (yes, SEVEN!!) and got to know each other way too well, hehe. So many inside jokes were made throughout this trip (including our new pierogi and tiramisu pairing hahaha) Consider Tuscany: fully explored. Friendship: established and grown. Now, fun fact / funny story… I get SUPER car sick. And Tuscany? It’s literally all winding, uneven, long roads… lol. Let’s just say, I may or may not have taken a lot of power naps between cities but I was ready to rock and roll when we got to our destinations

WOW. What an elopement. What a couple. What a trip. Forever grateful I got to be a part of this. ♥️

PS: of course we made a TikTok ;)
