Cabo Mexico Destination Wedding

WHAT A WEDDING WEEKEND!!!!!!! Emphasis on ~wedding weekend~ because it wasn’t just the wedding day that was incredible, it really was the whole weekend! Plus, this was one of those weddings you’d see plastered allllllll over Pinterest for ~dreamy wedding inspiration~. The decor, details, attire, overall aesthetic.. Liz and Teddy NAILED IT!
I enjoyed the lead-up to this wedding weekend… to start, I already knew a few people going. Some were my other wedding clients, others were friends I’ve made over the years. Little did I know I was seated next to bridesmaids and other wedding guests on the flight to Cabo. The second I heard someone reference a wedding, I quickly asked if it was for Liz and Teddy because HIIII I’m about to spend the entire weekend with yall!!! I love destination weddings because instead of getting to know everyone on the wedding day and saying goodbye as the day concludes, destination weddings give me the opportunity to meet everyone PRIOR to the day and interact with them like friends the day-of… you betcha I called everyone out on the dance floor to strike a pose for a pic ;) Everyone was in the BEST mood all week long and it was so fun seeing everyone befriend each other AND befriend ME! I felt so included in this crew – what a welcoming wedding party and family!
Liz and Teddy had a vision but what was SO COOL to observe is how much they really trusted their vendor team. When I asked Liz a few questions leading up to the day, she redirected me to her planner, Nicolle. We all want to trust our planner when it comes to all things wedding planner/day-of coordinating but this woman really went ABOVE and BEYOND for her clients in every way. I LOVED being able to watch Liz and Teddy sit back, relax, and ENJOY their wedding day. Because that’s what it’s about… right!!!?  You spend A YEAR (possibly more) planning this big day and you owe it to yourself to trust your vendors. Nicholle and Pueblo Bonito’s lead wedding coordinator, Gaby, ran the show seamlessly. Florals were on point, decor and set up was to diiiieeee foooorrr.
Now “the show,” the wedding day, it could NOT have been better. Picture this: a private Cabo resort, 80 degrees and sunshine (with a slight breeze), surrounded by your closest family and friends. Getting ready and glammed up with girlfriends, facetiming grandparents to show them your wedding dress, private first look with your person, intimate ocean-side ceremony, reciting vows as the waves crash along the shore, pool-side cocktail hour, photos on the beach as the sun goes down, toasts under twinkly lights, dancing under the moonlight, fireworks to end the night. HOW INCREDIBLE. Liz and Teddy, your wedding weekend was a DREAM and I am so grateful to have been a part of it all with you! Cheers to you two and a lifetime of happiness!
