Us wedding vendors sometimes get what’s called “wedding blues” post wedding. Basically, we get all in the feels that this incredible day that we’ve all worked towards + got to finally serve, has come and gone. *cue the tears* SO GET THIS… my new planner bestie Sarah (Alice Allen Events) and I were talking about how we had the wedding blues over Brittany and Michael’s day BEFORE IT EVENT HAPPENED. Like, we KNEW we’d have one hell of a day before the day even happened LOL. Needless to say, AFTER the wedding happened, we were certainly feeling those blues but luckily we get to live vicariously through these photos and relive that magical day over and over again.
My goodness… THE VRABEL WEDDING WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! Woah wait lets back up… Mr. and Mrs. Vrabel are INCREDIBLE. Brittany and Michael held a special place in my heart from the very start. I have a special and unique relationship with all my clients but with Brittany and Michael it was just different and in the best way. Right off the bat when we met for our e-consult, I felt like we were all best friends. It wasn’t like I felt that way with just Brittany or just Michael, but truly with both of them. Also, from the start I thought “wow, these two have iconic smiles” and really, they do. You can’t help but SMILE just looking at them smiling :’). Sometimes when I book a destination wedding, I also do an engagement session with my couples, giving us a chance to work together in person before the big day. Sometimes, due to availability and other circumstances, that doesn’t happen. Now, while I wasn’t able to work with Brittany and Michael in person prior to their big day, I was always in communication with them throughout their planning process. I was HONORED that Brittany would come to me for my feedback on not just photo related things but random things like her wedding dress, bridesmaids dress colors, decor… I felt like a planner and maid of honor mixed in with a photographer. I was loving it!!!! Like, damn, thanks for trusting me to that extent!!! Also, we were always on the same wavelength and any spontaneous idea I had, I would bring up to Brittany. I KNEW Brittany was close to her wedding party, even the groomsmen. So one day I saw on TikTok a bride and groomsmen first look and I FACETIMED Brittany out of nowhere and was like “YOOOOOOO WANNA DO THIS!?!?” Yeah, it was a done deal. This happened a few times as my creative mind was exploding and I knew both Brittany and Michael would be SO on board with everything.

Brittany and Michael pulled together one hell of a vendor squad. No, really. We all left that wedding day feeling like BFFS. Brittany prioritized picking vendors she really loved and meshed with. Distance was no limitation nor restriction for her. She flew in her planner, Sarah (Alice Allen Events), from Texas. From Utah came, Kenna (KFilms Video), her baller videographer, and we came from good ole’ MN. Brittany knew what she wanted and it was so fun seeing her vision, pulled together from all places (literally, various states) come to life. So needless to say, this wedding was a dream and everyone NAILED IT! One of the coolest highlights of this wedding… so many of the details were DIY’d by Brittany herself. Brittany was SO DANG GOOD at her craft that she got DMs and inquiries left and right. This queen is now offering custom signs and wedding decor (peep her over at @isawthesignweddings on instagram). ICONIC!
Okay back to this wedding day…. Truly perfection in every way imaginable. This day was GORGEOUS, intimate, fun, and a spectacular party. I enjoyed every second celebrating Brittany and Michael alongside allllll their friends and family. They sure have themselves surrounded by people who are not only supporting them through their individual AND married life journey but also cheering them on every step of the way. What a blessing! You can tell Brittany and Michael pour just as much love back into their people and even on THEIR wedding day, the did just that. I am grateful to have been a part of such a big day for them and now call them my friends. You can find me and Brittany texting about random things on a weekly basis I swear hahahah.
