HEY HI OK!!!! Soooo Katie’s shoot definitely did not start off too swell. Basically we started 40 minutes LATE because there was some terrible accident near my house and they closed off both sides of the road leading to my house. I live right off a main road and there are only 2 ways to get to my house — yup, both were closed off. So I’m over here stressing out and I call Katie to LET HER KNOW that no matter what we’ll make sure her shoot works out… even if we don’t get through it all today, I won’t let her have a bad shoot. She’s on the other end of the call super chill with no worries in the world 😂😂😂😂😂 like what hahahaha. I swear … all the out-of-the-norm situation that has happened this season has been with seniors who’ve been BEYOND chill about it and that’s just been a ~blessing~. Anyway… I’m a huuuuge believer in ‘everything happens for a reason’ and that was precisely the case with Katie’s shoot BECAUSE when we made it to her field— the sun peaked out JUST IN TIME for golden hour pics. It was cloudy the entire day and then BAM — sun. THAT, my friends, is the best kinda shoot you could have. So there ya have it… had we not been delayed, we wouldn’t have gotten the sliver of sun that we did for 5 minutes for those golden shots 😂🙃 Katie, you’re gorgeous 🤩🤩 Ive been following Katie on insta for a while now and I was sooOooOo looking foreword to her shoot. She can WORK the camera. Fun fact shes Irish?¿ 🤣 I was over here thinking she was some cool ethnic mix but nah, she followed me 😂😂 anyway I’ll never forget when I told her to move a hair that was in her face and homegirl YANKED that piece off her head of hair 😳😳😂😂😂😂 “it’s ok I have too much hair anyway” she responded 🥴😂 my time with you was THE BEST girlfriend 🥰 hope to photograph your cute self again someday!! xo 😘
