Leave it to Sami and Brian to throw one HECK OF A WEDDING!!!!! Oh man, this weekend was a BLAST in Cancun, Mexico. I’ll never forget when I did my first consult with these two and Sami said, “If I’m about to spend this much money and time planning a wedding, I don’t want it to be for just one day” !!!! AMEN !!!! That is one of the beauties of a destination wedding and being a part of that wedding weekend with these two, I could see them thriving and enjoying every minute of their time with family and friends.
My favorite thing about Sami and Brian is how well they balance one another out. Brian is a total goofball and challenges Sami out of her comfort zone. Sami is always laughing around her man and I could always sense this comfort from her when she was around Brian in a way I didn’t see from her with anyone else. Meanwhile, Sami keeps Brian in the moment. On their wedding day, any time I caught Brian looking at Sami, it was truly as though the world around him stopped and he was just totally in the moment, encompassed by his beautiful bride. Together, they bring out the best in one another and balance out each other’s traits. As a photographer, I absolutely LOVED capturing this dynamic and as a friend, I enjoyed witnessing their sweet love.
Sami and Brian’s love is the sweetest thing. Now what wasn’t so sweet was the 50MPH wind gusts that hit them during their ceremony LOL. Not going to lie, it was quite the struggle bus as pre-ceremony the arch kept blowing away. Sami did in fact almost blow away as well lol. Okay okay on the real though… what was really sweet from their ceremony is the fact that Sami’s mom officiated it. How special Now… MYYYYY favorite part (as you can probably guess) was the JUICY SUNSET that came shortly after the ceremony. HOLYYYYYYYY. Those Cancun sunsets were LIFE GIVINGGG and I was certainly freaking out. Sami and Brian celebrated the rest of their night under the most romantic twinkly lights and when their wedding was ‘done,’ the party continued on the club’s dance floor until probably 1am? 2am? No breaks for this crew here!! This was one well-celebrated wedding weekend
