You know the saying, “when you know you know?” That was definitely the case for Gaelin and Micaela. Gaelin had reached out to me a while before the proposal with the request to candidly photograph a few of their dates. He had me do this, a few friends of theirs, and some other photographers. Fast forward to the proposal scene–the photos speak for themselves. Gaelin rented out a small theater and set up the most perfect walkaway, lit up, with framed photos from their favorite dates. At the end of the walkaway, there was a projector showing a message from Gaelin himself and compiled photos of their memories. Just when things couldn’t get better… Gaelin popped out from around the corner and got down on one knee. This was the most beautifully thought out proposal… and a tear jerker for sure.
